Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
